1 cup mayonnaise
2 Chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, chopped finely
1 tsp adobo sauce
1 tsp lime juice
Mix well, and chill while making burgers.
1 cup canned black beans, drained and rinsed
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp salt
freshly ground black pepper
Place beans in a large bowl and mash with a potato masher. Add beef and seasonings. Mix well to combine. Shape into 4 patties. Grill and cook to your desired temperature.
Serve on hamburger buns, tortilla shells or herb crepes and top with chipotle mayo.
