4 cubed steaks
salt
pepper
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
red & green peppers, sliced
sliced onion
sliced provolone cheese
1 loaf French bread
Season cube steaks to taste and brown in a Pam sprayed skillet. Add 2 cups of water and package of onion soup mix. Simmer at least one hour until meat is tender.
Saute sliced peppers and onions until soft and golden.
Cut bread into 4 servings. Slice and layer cheese, then meat and onions & pepper to make a sandwich. Put gravy into a small bowl at the side of each serving and “dip” and enjoy.
