When Jay and I got married one of the nice thoughtful gifts we received was a recipe box filled with recipes from friends and family. This recipe was from a good family friend we’ve known since I was 4 years old – Debbie Bayless.
1 lb 14 oz. hash browns, thawed
1 can cream of chicken soup
12 oz. sour cream
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 c. crushed corn flakes
1/4 c. melted butter
Preheat oven to 350. 9×13 pan sprayed with Pam. Combine first 7 ingredients and place in prepared pan. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake 30 minutes.
Combine corn flakes and butter and sprinkle on top of potatoes. Bake an additional 15 minutes.
